French brokerage Newedge has hired Françoise Guillaume as global COO and deputy CEO, Financial News reports. Based in Paris, she will also be a member of the board of the executive committee of global multi-asset brokerage and clearing house.
In the newly created position, Guillaume will be responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment of these groups with the goals of the firm, coordinating cross-function initiatives and supporting business line activity, adds HedgeWeek. She joins Newedge from Société Générale, where most recently she was CFO for SG Group Management Resources.
