Oklahoma Tobacco Trust Gets $19M

Oklahoma has certified $18.9 million in earnings to fight tobacco addiction and other health issues.

Oklahoma has certified $18.9 million in earnings to fight tobacco addiction and other health issues, Business Week reports. The funding was certified by the $600 million Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund Board of Investors.

The board, which is chaired by Ken Miller, handles investment of Oklahoma’s share of the national Master Settlement Agreement. Since its formation in 2000, the board has certified approximately $100 million in earnings.
