ISE To Revamp CMM Trading Rights

The International Securities Exchange has been permitted to restructure its competitive market maker trading rights.

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) has been permitted to restructure its competitive market maker (CMM) trading rights. The U.S. options exchange operator is seeking to unveil the program with a new structure that grants more flexibility to CMMs for deciding the options classes to quote.

The new CMM trading rights structure enables market makers to enter quotes in options symbols that comprise a certain percentage of industry volume. The new program will be available from September.
