Citigroup, through its global transaction services unit, has been appointed by KommuneKredit to provide global custody services. At present, Citi manages currency administration for the firm. Citi is also responsible for providing issuing and paying services for KommuneKredit’s bonds. KommuneKredit is a credit institution for local and regional governments in Denmark.
