Southwest Florida Community Foundation’s president and CEO Julia East is stepping down from her role. East, who has been serving the foundation for seven years, will assist during the time of transition and in the search for a new CEO.
The Southwest Florida Community Foundation has been backing the communities of Lee, Charlotte, Glades, Hendry and Collier counties since 1976. The community foundation, which has assets over $60 million, has provided over $50 million in grants and scholarships to the communities it serves.
