Jim Esposito has been selected by Goldman Sachs as head of its European financing operations, The Wall Street Journal reports. Effective from January, he will be responsible for focusing on expanding the firm’s financing business across equity, credit and derivative products.
He will succeed FX de Mallmann, who will then serve as head of investment banking services for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Esposito will be shifted to London from New York, where he is currently COO of Goldman’s investment-banking division.
