Hans Olsen has been selected by Barclays Wealth as managing director and head of its Americas investment strategy. He will responsible for developing the firm’s strategic and tactical asset allocation and be in charge of the investment strategy team in the U.S.

In his new role, Olsen will be based in New York and report directly to CIO of the firm, Aaron Gurwitz. Olsen is joining Barclays from JP Morgan, where he was CIO for private wealth management since 2007.
