The London Borough of Sutton Pension Fund is seeking to hire an active multi asset absolute-return manager and an active unconstrained global equity manager, Pensions & Investments reports. The new absolute return manager will handle £75 million, while equity manager will oversee around £70 million.
The search by the £350 million plan comes after a strategic asset allocation review by its investment consultant Hymans Robertson. Active global equity manager Newton Investment Management and passive global equity manager Legal & General Investment Management will provide funding for the new mandates.
