State Street has expanded its Alternative Investment Services (AIS) business in Asia-Pacific, The Asset reports. The firm has appointed Carol Hall as senior managing director and head of alternative investment services in Asia-Pacific. She will be responsible for the teams servicing private equity clients in Hong Kong and Singapore, along with the establishment of the hedge fund servicing business. The hedge fund services are expected to be offered through State Street’s International Fund Services unit. Hall will report to senior managing director of AIS Bhagesh Malde, adds Asian Investor.
