Venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA) has appointed Mohamad Makhzoumi as partner. He will focus on investments in the healthcare services and healthcare IT sectors.
At present, Makhzoumi sits on the boards of American Pathology Partners, Elements Behavioral Health, SCI Solutions, Nova Medical Centers and Simplex Healthcare. Before joining NEA in 2005, he worked with Summit Partners and UBS Investment Bank.
