Affiliated Managers Group (AMG) has named John Copeland as president of AMG Wealth Partners, the firm’s newly formed subsidiary focusing on investments in boutique wealth management firms. Based in West Palm Beach, Florida, he will work under Sean Healey, AMG’s Chairman and CEO.
Most recently, Copeland was working with Morgan Stanley as a senior partner for one of the firm’s private wealth management teams. Prior to that, he has also served at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs.
