Och-Ziff Capital Management Group’s board of directors has appointed J Griswell and Georganne Proctor as independent directors. The appointment follows the departure of Jeffrey Leeds and William Cobb from the board of the hedge fund management firm.
The duo has been added as members of the audit and nominating, corporate governance and conflicts committees of the board. Previously, Griswell served as Chairman and CEO of Principal Financial Group, while Proctor was COO of TIAA-CREF. Allan Bufferd has also been named as Chairman of the audit committee.
