The National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation (NCCN) has added cancer specialist Andrew Eschenbach as a member to its board of directors. Eschenbach is currently the managing director and president of Samaritan Health Initiatives.
Previously, he was a commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the director of the National Cancer Institute. He has also served as director of the Prostate Cancer Research Program and the Genitourinary Cancer Center at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
