BTG Pactual has raised $1.5 billion for a private equity growth fund, Financial Times reports. The BTG Pactual Brazil I fund will be managed by Carlos Fonseca, adds Reuters, citing Valor Economico.
The fund received $500 million from the firm’s capital and $200 million from employees and partners. Drugstore Brazil Pharma and oil services company Brasbunker have already been added to the portfolio of the fund.
