Itau Unibanco Holding has raised $500 million through a sale of subordinated notes.

Itau Unibanco Holding has raised $500 million through a sale of subordinated notes, Reuters reports. The Brazilian lender sold tier two bonds in the 144a private placement market. The notes, which carry a coupon rate of 6.2%, will mature on Dec. 21, 2021. The joint book-running managers for the sale were Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Itau Unibanco.
