UBS has appointed Bruce Amlicke as head of its fund of hedge funds (FoHF) group, FINalternatives reports. Based in Connecticut, Amlicke will also manage the firm’s Zurich-based alternative funds advisory group and a former part of its wealth-management operation.
He will also be co-CIO of the investment solutions group, alongside Rick Nardis. Amlicke joined UBS last year after serving at Blackstone Group since 2004. He will be active in his new role from July 1, 2011.
