Central Ohio universities’ endowments have returned to profits after incurring losses in 2009.

Central Ohio universities’ endowments have returned to profits after incurring losses in 2009, Business Journal reports. The endowment of the Ohio State University returned back to $1.9 billion in the year ended June 30, 2010.

The Ohio Dominican University had a similar return of 13.5% to hit $20.8 million, while the Denison University grew by 8% to $564 million. Bexley-based Capital University also disclosed an increase in returns by 7.2% to $53 million.
