Franklin Templeton Names U.S. BD Head

Mutual fund investments funds provider, Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Patrick Hughes as vice president of the U.S. institutional business development unit.

Mutual fund investments funds provider, Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Patrick Hughes as vice president of the U.S. institutional business development (BD) unit, Pensions & Investments reports. He will be responsible for developing business opportunities with U.S. defined benefit and defined contribution clients.

In the newly created position, Hughes will work under Scott Lee, managing director and senior vice president of U.S. institutional BD. Hughes has previously worked as vice president of sales and marketing with Bank of New York Mellon Beta Management.
