Morgan Stanley’s head of India equity capital markets, PV Krishna, has resigned from his position, Reuters reports. Krishna will join Goldman Sachs as managing director and head of capital markets in India.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Krishna worked with Nomura as equity capital markets head in India. Krishna’s appointment is expected to fill a void left by Goldman Sachs’ co-head of investment banking, Sunil Sanghai, who quit in June 2010, adds The Economic Times.
