Ford Foundation Adds $40M Portfolio Head

Ford Foundation has named Jonathan Barzilay as director of its work on freedom of expression.

Ford Foundation has named Jonathan Barzilay as director of its work on freedom of expression. The $40 million annual portfolio supports arts and culture, media policy, journalism and public interest media around the world.

Barzilay will join Ford Foundation from Qualcomm’s FLO TV, where he was senior vice president and head of content. Previously, he has also worked at CBS, Disney/ABC Cable Networks, Toon Disney and ABC Kids.
