MetLife has appointed Steven Goulart as CIO. Goulart will succeed Steven Kandarian as president and CEO to manage the firm’s $450 billion general account portfolio. Kandarian has been promoted to become president and CEO. Goulart joined MetLife in 2006 and has been leading the portfolio management unit of the insurer’s investments department.
