EBay will purchase mobile-advertising provider, Where, The Wall Street Journal reports. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of first quarter of 2011. Where makes apps that provide local listings for restaurants, bars and shops and also operates a location-based ad network that lets advertisers show mobile ads to people near their shops.
