Providence Acquires SRA For $1.88B

Providence Equity Partners will acquire U.S. defense consulting company, SRA International.

Providence Equity Partners will acquire U.S. defense consulting company, SRA International, The Wall Street Journal reports. The private equity firm will pay $1.88 billion in cash for the acquisition. As per the deal, Virginia-based SRA also has a 30-day go-shop period, adds Reuters. Citigroup and Bank of America Merrill Lynch advised Providence on the deal, while SRA International appointed Houlihan Lokey as the financial adviser.
