Accel Partners, the venture capital backer of Facebook, has appointed Paul Wahl as CEO in residence, Financial News reports. In his new role, Wahl will oversee businesses that reduce the complexity of IT infrastructure. He has previously served as president of software companies Siebel Systems and CEO of SAP America. Accel’s investments also include coupon sharing website, Groupon and consumer credit business, Wonga.
