Canadian regulators have approved Alpha Group’s IntraSpread facility. The proposed dark pool trading venue, which has been approved by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), is expected to be available for trading in the coming months, adds Investment Week.
The new facility is designed to improve the quality of execution in Canadian markets while reducing the cost of trading. The OSC reviewed a number of issues including fair access, internalization, and post-trade transparency.
