Deutsche Bank Securities has appointed Douglas Runte as a managing director and head of aviation debt research within its markets unit.

Deutsche Bank Securities has appointed Douglas Runte as a managing director and head of aviation debt research within its markets unit. In his new position, Runte will cover the transportation sector, focusing on airline and other aircraft-related debt across the investment-grade, high-yield and ABS markets. Based in New York, Runte will work under Steve Abrahams, managing director and head of securitization and mortgage-backed securities research. Most recently, Runte was serving as managing director and senior aviation analyst at Piper Jaffray and has also worked at Morgan Stanley.
