Van Eck Global is planning to launch a small-cap equity ETF focused on developing economies, Index Universe reports. The Market Vectors GDP Emerging Markets Small-Cap Equity ETF will track the Market Vectors GDP – Emerging Markets Small-Cap Equity Index. The fund’s indexing methodology tends to favor countries with larger economies, including Russia and China. Market Vectors now issues 30 ETFs with over $20 billion in assets under management, adds Benzinga.
