SocGen Appoints FICC Sales Head

Société Générale has appointed Mark Landis as its new head of fixed-income and currency sales in the Americas.

Société Générale has appointed Mark Landis as its new head of fixed-income and currency (FICC) sales in the Americas. In his new role, Landis will expand and manage the firm’s client relationships in the region for interest rate, credit, foreign exchange and securitized products.

Based in New York, he will work under Vincent Bonamy, head of FICC for the Americas, and David Knott, global head of FICC sales. Landis joins SocGen from Panda Global Advisors, the New York-based hedge fund he co-founded in 2009.
