Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Pierre Caramazza as head of the registered investment advisor (RIA) sales unit. In his new role, Caramazza will focus on the expansion within the RIA marketplace for all Franklin Templeton products. He will work under Dan O’Lear, executive vice president of U.S. advisory services for Franklin Templeton Distributors. Prior to this, Caramazza served as senior vice president managing the fixed income product management & development and regional product strategy groups within Franklin.
