Philips Pensioenfonds has selected Aviva Investors to establish and manage its global multi-manager unlisted real estate portfolio. The global asset manager has been appointed to invest in the Netherlands, the rest of Europe, the U.S. and the Asia Pacific region. The Philips pension fund has around 110,000 scheme members and over $17.95 billion of assets under management in defined benefit schemes. Aviva manages nearly $370 billion of assets in a wide range of asset classes, of which over $32 billion is in real estate investments.
