Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) has appointed Mubashir Mukadam as European head of special situations for KKR Asset Management. Based in London, Mukadam will be reporting to the co-heads of special situations, Nat Zilkha and Jamie Weinstein. In his new role, Mukadam will focus on secondary purchases of distressed assets as well as rescue lending and structured investments in Europe. He is joining the private equity firm from York Capital Management, where he was managing director.
