S&P Launches Balanced Index Series

Standard & Poor’s has unveiled a new series of indices for investors having different risk-reward profiles.

Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has unveiled a new series of indices for investors having different risk-reward profiles. The indices currently included in the series are the S&P Balanced Equity and Bond – Conservative Index, the S&P Balanced Equity and Bond – Moderate Index and the S&P Balanced Equity and Bond – Growth Index. The indices will combine investable S&P measures of the core asset classes of equity and fixed income with U.S. Treasury pricing provided by BGCantor Market Data, resulting in regularly rebalanced multi-asset indices. Each index in the series is allocated a pre-defined weight of equity exposure, represented by the S&P 500 Total Return Index, and bond exposure represented by the S&P/BGCantor 7-10 Year U.S. Treasury Bond Index.
