NBIM Reduces Vestas Stake

Norges Bank Investment Management has reduced its stake in a Danish wind turbine maker.

Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) has reduced its stake in a Danish wind turbine maker, Reuters reports. The division of the Norwegian central bank that manages the more than $500 billion oil fund has reduced its shares in Vestas to 4.86% as of Feb. 9, 2011.

The Oslo-based company, which held nearly 10.3 million shares previously, will now hold 9.9 million shares. Vestas now has just two shareholders, U.S. investment group Capital Research and Management with a 5.23% stake and BlackRock with a 5.03% share.
