French media conglomerate, Vivendi, is in talks with U.K.’s Vodafone, Reuters reports. The Paris-based company is seeking to acquire Vodafone’s 44% stake in French mobile operator, SFR.
The value of stake was not disclosed. Vivendi last month sold its entire 20% stake in NBC Universal to GE for $5.8 billion.
