Equinix, Riverwood To Pay $127M For ALOG

Equinix and Riverwood Capital are seeking to acquire about 90% of ALOG Data Centers of Brazil.

Equinix and Riverwood Capital are seeking to acquire about 90% of ALOG Data Centers of Brazil. The global data center services provider and the technology-focused private equity firm will pay a total of about $127 million in cash for the acquisition.

After the completion of transaction, Equinix will hold a controlling interest, while Riverwood will hold a minority stake and about 10% will be held by current members of ALOG’s management team. ALOG’s CEO, Sidney Breyer, will also continue to lead the ALOG team in Brazil with the support of the buyers.
