Aegon has appointed Amanda Bowe as a compliance director, Citywire reports. She will join Aegon in April 2011 and report to chief risk officer, Charles Garthwaite. Previously, Bowe was working with the Consumer Financial Education Body, where she was head of strategy. She has also held senior positions at the Financial Services Authority, including planning and leading the retail distribution review.
