Highbridge Adds Principal Strategy Head

Highbridge Capital has appointed Serge Adam as head of its principal strategies division.

Highbridge Capital has appointed Serge Adam as head of its principal strategies division, Financial Times reports. The $27 billion hedge fund owned by investment bank JPMorgan is preparing to start a new standalone credit opportunities fund.

In his new role, Adams will co-head Highbridge’s principal strategies division with Scott Kapnick, the former co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Adam was head of Sandell Asset Management’s credit fund.
