Argentina is seeking to reach an agreement with the informal group of sovereign lenders in Paris Club by June 2011, The Wall Street Journal reports. Argentina expects to reach a debt repayment plan agreement with the club. The outstanding debt of Argentina owed to Paris Club was over $6.87 billion at the end of 2009. Argentina owes a large part of its Paris Club debt to Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.S. and the Netherlands.
