Infinity Capital Markets, the European business of U.S. proprietary trading firm, First New York Securities, has appointed Benoit Savoret, Financial News reports. Savoret was most recently at Macquarie as CEO and head of its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He has also formerly worked at Lehman Brothers in Europe and Asia as its COO and prior to that at French bank, Société Générale. Infinity is managed by traders and seeks to use its partnership capital to offer prop traders in Europe a fully funded trading platform.
