BP Scheme Names Pension Provider

The new Dutch pension fund of energy company, BP, has appointed Syntrus Achmea as its provider,

The new Dutch pension fund of energy company, BP, has appointed Syntrus Achmea as its provider, IPE reports. The Stichting Pensioenfonds BP is part of the merger of the BP Refinery scheme in Rotterdam with the BP Netherlands pension plan on January 1.

Syntrus Achmea has been managing pension administration at the refinery scheme since 2006, while BP Netherlands had awarded its administration mandate to Blue Sky Group. The new scheme is also finalizing details with BlackRock, AXA and BNP Paribas as its new asset managers.
