BNY Mellon has promoted John Fiore to the position of chief information officer, PR Newswire reports. In the new role, Fiore will lead the firm’s global information technology business, including the implementation of technology strategy, application development and technology infrastructure.
A member of the firm’s global operating committee, Fiore most recently held the position of chief information officer for application development at BNY Mellon. He will work under Kurt Woetzel, head of global operations and technology. Previously, he worked with Investor Services Technology, State Street and Coopers & Lybrand.
