European Banking Federation Adviser Moves To U.S.

Caitriona O’Kelly has left her position of banking supervision adviser at the European Banking Federation. O’Kelly is due to take up a position at the Institute of International Finance in Washington, D.C., according to Stephen Fisher, the Federation’s financial markets adviser.

A replacement is currently being sought. O’Kelly had been with the Federation since 2002, and reported to Tanguy van de Werve, head of financial departments. She was previously at Allied Irish Banks in Dublin.

O’Kelly will report to David Schraa, director of the regulatory affairs department. She is due to take over from Molly McGregor, as policy adviser in the regulatory affairs department on May 1. McGregor said she will leave the Institute on May 12 to get married and eventually relocate to New York.
