Michael Rubinoff, former Goldman Sachs i-banker and departed founding partner of Behrens Rubinoff Capital Partners, has formed his own hedge fund firm, Infinity Point. Joining Rubinoff at the new firm is Brenda Forsman, former cfo at Behrens, who has taken the same position at Infinity. Forsman referred inquiries to Rubinoff who did not return calls by press time.
After founding Behrens Rubinoff with Evan Behrens, Rubinoff departed last year for undisclosed reasons. Behrens is now reportedly closing up shop (AIN, 3/13).
