Estácio Participações
Rio de Janeiro’s Estácio Participações is a private post-secondary and university operator founded in 1970. It offers 78 undergraduate courses in exact sciences, biological sciences and the humanities, as well as graduate specialization courses and master’s and doctoral degree courses. Its network includes one university, seven university centers, 36 colleges and 170 learning units. Estácio Participações is named after Estácio de Sá, a Portuguese military officer credited with founding Rio de Janeiro in the 16th century.
