Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. is primarily focused on the exploration and extraction of oil and natural gas on Latin America. The company, which is headquartered in Toronto and has corporate offices in Bogota, Colombia, and Lima, Peru, was founded in 2009 and now has some 2,500 employees. In mid-August it changed its name to Pacific Exploration and Production to reflect the declining importance of the Rubiales Field, the largest oil field in Colombia, on the company’s increasingly diversified production base.
