Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico

Guadalajara-based Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico is a Mexican airport operator responsible for 12 airports in the western region of the country. Once publicly run, the government concessioned the airports under a privatization scheme intended to improve the quality and safety of air transport. Founded in 1998, the company went public in 2006 with its initial public offering on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Mexican Stock Exchange. GAP’s airports harbor some 25 million passengers annually.
