Chicago-based R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO) is looking to add more institutional brokerage teams to its New York operation, Mondovisione reports. This is part of its diversification efforts, which have seen it add teams in the areas of metals, soft commodities and foreign exchange, as well as veteran specialists in over-the-counter energy and structured products. It is moving into a larger office to accommodate its growing business in New York. The company has consolidated the two offices previously situated in the downtown and uptown New York City into one office.
