SPX is acquiring CLYDEUNION Pumps from Clyde Blowers Capital. The North Carolina-based manufacturing company will pay a total of £700 million for the acquisition. The transaction, which is pending for customary closing conditions, is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter. Glasgow, U.K.-based CLYDEUNION supplies pump technologies that are utilized in oil and gas processing, power generation and other industrial applications.
