BlackRock has appointed Michelle Edkins as global head of corporate governance and responsible investment, Pensions & Investments reports. Edkins, who is also a managing director, will replace Abe Friedman, who has left the firm. Currently, Edkins is head of corporate governance and responsible investment for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She will continue in the position until a permanent replacement is hired.
