SC Retirement System To Look For Consultant

The South Carolina (SC) Retirement System Investment Commission, Columbia, will be floating an RFP seeking an investment consultant for the $26.2 billion pension fund, Pensions & Investments reports. The RFP is expected to be put out in the coming few months. The current consultant NEPC’s contract ends on June 30 next year but it can rebid.

The fund customarily invites bids for the contract every five years. Additionally, the commission’s staff and the South Carolina state procurement office will also float an RFP for third-party compensation consulting services.
